Graduation Rate

This table shows the number of students who began the final half of the MLT program and graduated. Coastal Carolina Community College considers students who enroll fall semester of the second year of the MLT program to be entering the final half of the MLT program.

Certification Rate

Upon satisfactory completion of the program, graduates may be eligible to sit for the national certificate examination given by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC exam). Granting of the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree from the MLT program is not contingent on passing an external certification exam.
